We are monitoring the situation with Federal funding and will provide continuous updates as we have them.

The National Fish Habitat Partnership, and its subsidiary groups like RFHP, is and has always been subject to receiving an annual Congressional appropriation. Congress has not passed a FY25 budget yet. This affects the large grant applications submitted and forwarded by RFHP for funding during last year's cycle.

We are currently working on our FY26 project list. There is no President’s budget for FY26, and Congress won’t start working on their FY26 budget until later this year. In light of this, we must continue to operate as we always have, under the assumption that NFHP will receive funding each fiscal year due to being a non-partisan program that brings value to the American people.

Additionally, we will operate under a continuing resolution until a new budget is passed.  That means we are bound to last year's budget figures.
